What is the difference between the different coffees?

Whether you are equipped with a machine or just your favorite mug, we have the drink you need. Here are our ranges classified by compatibility:
  • Nespresso®
    From classic (Lungo intensity 3, Espresso intensity 5) to indulgence with our flavored espressos: Salted Butter Caramel, Chocolate Cookie, or Vanilla Macadamia.
  • Dolce Gusto®
    The latte paradise! Find our iconic Bear Latte, White Chocolate, as well as our Lattes (Vanilla, Caramel) and Cappuccinos.
  • Coffee Beans
    The authenticity of the coffee shop at home with our two essentials: intensity 5 for mildness and intensity 9 for character.
  • Tassimo® & Senseo®
    Varied pleasures ranging from Latte Macchiato and Lungo for Tassimo, to gourmet Caramel Cappuccino for Senseo.
  • Gourmet Drinks (Powders)

What are the different intensities and how to choose?

At Columbus, intensity is not just a number, it is an experience. Here is our scale to find your ideal cup.
  • Intensity 3 : Mildness (Lungo)
    What is it? A fluid and light coffee, available in Nespresso® and Tassimo® capsules. Its added value: It is designed to be drunk in “long” format (110ml) without any bitterness. It is the ideal companion for quiet wake-ups or for those who like to drink a lot of coffee without being overexcited.
  • Intensity 5 : Balance (Espresso & Bean)
    What is it? Our “heart of blend”. You find it everywhere: in Bean, Nespresso® capsules. Its added value: The perfect consensus. Neither too strong nor too light. It offers a roundness that pleases everyone, ideal for hosting or for a coffee break without the risk of making a mistake.
  • Intensity 9 : Power (Barista Bean)
    What is it? The “Barista Blend”, our signature available exclusively in Bean. Its added value: The real taste of the Coffee Shop. With its notes of dark chocolate and hazelnut, it has enough body not to be “drowned” by milk. It is the mandatory intensity if you make your own cappuccinos or if you like Italian-style espresso.

Are the coffees compatible with all machines?

Do you offer caffeine-free alternatives?

Yes, discover our wide selection of gourmet caffeine-free drinks: our hot chocolate capsules compatible with the Dolce Gusto® machine, our hot chocolate powder easy and quick to prepare, as well as our Nümorning superfood latte, a healthy and gourmet alternative ideal for breakfast.

What is the origin of our French-roasted Arabica coffee?

Our coffee draws its richness from a rigorous selection of the world’s best cultivation lands. We marry the tangy mildness of **Latin American Arabicas** with the power of African grains. Each grain is then **roasted in France** by our family roaster partner, ensuring an exceptional taste signature.

Do you offer certified Organic Coffee?

Yes, since 2022, our coffee is proud to be certified **Organic Agriculture (AB)**. This certification guarantees cultivation respectful of the environment, without chemical pesticides, marking our strong commitment to more responsible consumption.

How to properly store coffee beans?

To preserve the full aroma and freshness of your coffee, we advise you to keep it in an airtight and opaque container, placed in a dry place away from direct light, air, and humidity. Good conservation avoids oxidation of the grains and guarantees a cup rich in flavors, identical to the one tasted in our coffee shops.

What is the coffee subscription, what are the benefits?

The subscription allows you to receive your coffee directly at home, effortlessly. A flexible offer to make your life easier, save 20% on your order, and enjoy free delivery to relay points from €49 of purchases.

What is the duration of the subscription?

There is no minimum duration imposed. Your subscription renews automatically every month until you decide to suspend or stop it.

Can we stop or modify the subscription whenever we want?

Yes, our coffee subscription is without commitment. You can stop it at any time from your customer area. There is no mandatory minimum duration or hidden fees related to termination.

How can I stop my subscription?

To stop your subscription, log in to your Columbus Café account, go to the “My subscriptions” section to cancel your current service.

How often will I receive my coffee?

The delivery frequency is monthly. You will receive your products automatically once a month, to guarantee constant freshness of your coffee at home without you having to think about it.

Can I change the coffee variety every month?

If you wish to change variety, simply end your current subscription from your customer area, then subscribe to a new one with the coffee selection that suits you best.

Are the products made with quality ingredients?

Yes, each recipe is developed from carefully selected ingredients to guarantee a gourmet experience faithful to the Columbus Café spirit. We rigorously select the best suppliers to develop unique recipes. For example, our muffin and cookie mixes are made in France and our coffee is roasted in France.
